2021 Vega Digital Award Winner

The 2021 Vega Digital Awards announced that out of 1,392 entries, The Big A has taken the Centauri Award.

It was awarded for the website design of TV Products HK, who manufacture and distribute retail products worldwide. The project also included brand identity and copywriting.

Participation of International Brands

There were submissions from brands worldwide, including Bandai Namco, Corto Olive, Jotun, AIA Singapore, Natural Resources Defense Council, National Air & Space Museum, Korea Tourism Organization, and AARP Work + Jobs. Despite the odds, The Big A emerged victorious.

Kenjo Ong, the CEO of International Awards Associate (IAA) said:

“It is humbling to see talented individuals thriving in their craft despite the pandemic. Excellence pushes people towards greatness in spite of adversity, and The Big A certainly captured that notion of excellence.”

Grand Jury Panel

The panel was made up of 26 jurors worldwide, from leading companies in the creative and digital industries such NBCUniversal, Cummins&Partners and Porter Novellia. To ensure impartiality, blind judging was exercised, and jurors were only able to assess each entry purely on its own merits.

The Big A winning entry

The winning project eschewed the formula used by many in the sector and instead went on a trust building exercise which conveyed the authority and energy of the brand. The Big A Director, Alex Hearn, said:

“The design, development, brand identity and copywriting all work together to create a really interesting online brand experience, with an authentic voice. I’m delighted that this carefully arranged customer journey and bold website design has been recognised by the judging panel.”
