The Big A was founded by Managing Director Alex Hearn and Ashley De Santos in 2007. While Ashley bought the experience of big brand promotions, Alex integrated over 10 years of full service, creative experience and working with marketing to build a creative agency that would align its objectives under the marketing agenda.
Alex has a rich creative background including a stint for a major advertising agency and creating illustrations for clients such as The Guardian Newspaper. More recently Alex has had exhibitions in central London: “It’s great to have that string to my bow - knowing we can create art for the purposes of a commercial brief opens up the possibilities which have come in handy.” He has his own eclectic art collection and pieces occassionally appear in auctions at Sotheby’s and Bonham’s when he feels like a change!
