The DawBell brand needed to appeal to journalists, music acts and their representatives in a language they would understand. It also needed to communicate their specialist relationships with the music press for promoting top end music acts.

The company name, DawBell, already suggested the idea of being gatekeepers to the market. We built on this by combining the text and graphic in the logo to show the idea of a finger pushing a button, using the bold visual language of consumer music publications as inspiration. This was key in order to communicate their expertise in the music consumer press and appeal to their target markets in a language they understood and wanted to be a part of.
