Brahma Beer
Part of the campaign shortlisted for a PR award, this visual and its placement (a unit in Carnaby Street) was designed to appeal to the Brahma Beer target market of the “in-crowd”. The life-size design was applied to glass which is the material of the product (glass bottles). It was applied to both sides of the glass in order to add depth, which meant half the design was applied in reverse.
The climax of the campaign was an event where a print by the artist Banksy was sold for 1 pence. The draw took place in Covent Garden, so 2 entire units were covered in the graphic, consistent with the web and print design. The idea behind these graphics was not just to encourage entry to the draw but also to give the press something special to photograph.
